Many of the KOTH map are just as much fun in regular Quake II DM. Check below for individual recommendations for each map. Just download the map(s) you want to try and have fun!
Any additional maps shown here will be included in a future map update release pak.
To preview the levels type "deathmatch 1" at the console to use the deathmatch starts.

Doh! That's got to hurt! Don't you just hate it when you swim through the communications laser and it fries you to death. What ever you do be sure to pass through the forcefield at something above a snails pace too. If you land on the "hill" with anything above 80% health consider you self lucky. :) Recommended number of players:

A little bit of the movie theater experience from Veranda- koth3 returns in koth5 - Vertigo. You will spend most of your time just getting to the hill on this level so once your there or even getting close be as careful as you can. Hint: If you have enough armor and are somewhat skilled you can Quad rocket jump to the top in one single shot. Recommended number of players:

version of the map.
Jump from shore, swim out to sea, and climb aboard this 17th century sailing ship. The ship only took 5mintues to make, I swear. : ) Even though the lower decks don't count as part of the hill be sure to venture down for some valuable items. Recommended number of players:
